From time to time everyone can suffer with dry skin, especially if they work in a dehydrating environment, have been exposed to extreme weather or during a period of illness. Dry skin can also be hereditary and occur naturally when the skin has a finer pore size. Although it's a common skin complaint, dry skin can feel tight and uncomfortable for the sufferer, but with a little care and attention it can easily be improved.

Weekly care

Buff away dead skin cells and impurities with Gentle Face Exfoliator. With moisturising cocoa butter, purifying eucalyptus and fine jojoba beads, this gentle yet effective exfoliator reveals smoother, more radiant-looking skin.

Use our Instant Boost™ Skin Tonic, formulated with hydrating aloe vera, after cleansing to add a fine veil of moisture and boost skin’s radiance.

To give dry skin a more intensive treat, 1-2 times a week, apply a thick layer of Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask and leave the rich, calming blend to work for 10 to 15 minutes. This creamy mask hydrates and soothes – making it the perfect solution if you're sensitive and prone to redness.

Use a rich moisturiser made with natural plant oils twice a day after cleansing and toning to keep skin feeling comfortable and soft.

Morning and evening, gently pat a pea-size amount of Superskin™ Eye Cream around the eye contour after cleansing and toning, but before moisturising. With a luxuriously hydrating formula, it’s enriched with our Superskin™ botanical blend of rosehip, borage and cranberry seed oils, plus powerful naturally active ingredients to visibly lift and firm the eye contour, leaving eyes looking brighter, refreshed and wide awake.

If your skin is very easily irritated or needs a moisturising boost, try Superskin™ Moisturiser unfragranced for sensitive skin. Rich in omega-3, GLA and antioxidants, and enriched with firming pomegranate flower and cranberry, borage and rosehip seed oils to help nourish and lock moisture onto skin.

Other top tips

  • Eating a diet rich in fish or taking a fish oil supplement will help ensure your body is getting the good fats it needs, which in turn can help ease the symptoms of dry skin.
  • If you spend a lot of time in a dehydrating environment, such as an air-conditioned or heated office, or on an aircraft, make sure you drink lots of water to stay hydrated. It may also help to keep bowls of water on your desk or in your bedroom at night, or buy a small humidifier, to ensure the air is moist rather than dry.
  • Avoid using very hot water when showering or bathing, as this can further aggravate dry skin.
